CBGB rock club owner Hilly Kristal, seen at his club in New York in this file photo of Sept. 26, 2006, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at the age of 75. Kristal, whose dank Bowery rock club served as the birthplace of the punk rock movement and a launching pad for bands like the Ramones, Blondie and the Talking Heads, died after a battle with lung cancer, his son said.

Ben & his family were forced to flee the Congo 6 years ago & now have refugee status in England... the whole thing is being filmed by the BBC, for a documentary about people living in exile, due to be shown sometime next year... enjoy...
