There's a brief interview with Sam as he rides on the band bus and then he scorches two blues. He was a spooky great singer too.

Sam died in 1969 just when the rock and roll folks were getting to know the blues, so he's not well-known.

His "West Side Soul" album is essential.

It's a treasure trove for the eager music addicts. I was particularly impressed with your animation page: seeing the notes played as one listens to Bach's Fugue in G is very enlightening.
