Best of (sorta)Instead of doing a cliché favorite album of the year list, in which I would roll out a list of hip ..blog.. worthy records that no one has heard or cares about ... This year I give you a list of songs that I couldn..t stop listening too ... Many of them worked their way into my DJ sets especially since the move north ... Postal Service but geekier. F.E.A.R. - Ian Brown .. always shows up on UNKLE mixes ... Its barely a song but it gives me chills. Jens Lekman .. Jens Lekman..s Farewell Song .. I really don..t know why I like it that much ... I really liked the movie Mask when I was a kidMy Love .. Justin Timberlake .. I really only listened to it once but I was really feeling good and it sounded amazing .. Just ordered the DFA mixes Strutter .. Kiss .. yeah ...cock rock at its best Lovers Who Uncover .. The Little Ones .. I..ve tried to avoid clients but they are too new to the family and this song is too cool If You Need A Reason .. Mason Jennings .. see Gordon Lightfoot Back Then .. Mike Jones - Baltimore may be the new thing but Houston is still getting spins in the Roy household Bullet - Misfits The Tweaker .. Moistboyz Murs is my Manager .. Say Anything - best concert singalong song that I don't know all the words too ... Astral Weeks .. The Secret Machines - this was a toss up with the Dylan cover on the same EP ... chills. Money City Maniacs .. Sloan - I moved back! Kid Charlemagne .. Steely Dan - "I think the people down the hall know who you are" Anthrax .. Caught in a Mosh - recent rediscovery ... makes me want to push people Drug Queen .. Duoteque - fresh techno ... ask Count Thee Money ... its coming back Long Train Runnin.. ..The Doobie Brothers - the Doobies are back ...watch Yaucht Rock Johnny Cash Rules Everything Around Me .. Inky Minky - killer wu mash I Want You So Hard .. Eagles of Death Metal - nice stash! 99 Red Balloons .. 7 Seconds - peace on earth and good ham to men Lit Up .. Buckcherry - see Kiss The F Word .. Cannibal Ox (RJD2 remix) - been kicking this one around for years Theme from Rawhide .. Blues Brothers or Dead Kennedys - HeeaawwwwTimorous Me .. Ted Leo and the Pharmacist - sounds like the Doobies if they were from JerseyMiracle Drug .. A. C. Newman - only song I like his solo album If You Could Read My Mind .. Gordon Lightfoot - one of the saddest tunes of all time?

  11. supertopsecret says I agree with Jess. I am going to have to grab this track as well. I liked the A.C Newman solo album, I would have to say Town Halo is my pick off that album. There are so many here that are new to me..I have a lot of listening to do. Kid Charlemagne, what a great song!
