Artist: Album: Tounges

Hey everybody,

been a long time without a post, but thats only because i havent had anything to write about.

i went to some shows, some were good, some not so good. one that inspired me to write this new post is the collaboration of Kieran Hebdan (who you know as Four Tet) and Steve Reid (phenomenal jazz drummer). this show was very important to me, not only because it kicks off the South by Southwest season, but it was a very rare show in itself. since not playing many shows in the states seems to be at the top of the list for these two, getting a chance to see the creative geniuses at work was a rare opportunity for anyone. a show in austin, a show in florida, then off to europe for the rest of the tour.

for those of you who haven't heard Kieran Hebdan and Steve Reid's sound, its hard to explain. a fusion of drone, glitch, and looping electronica with african beats and ever-changing time signatuers. their new lp 'tounges' will be released later this month. if you get a chance to see them, take that chance.

Greetings, It seems thats its been awhile since my last post. So I decided to make this a poll. What are your top 3 remixes of all times?

I'm going with: Roni Size - Heros (remixed by Kruder and Dorfmeister from 'The K&D Session') Boards of Canada - Dayvan Cowboy (Odd Nosdam remix) Bloc Party - The Pioneers (M83 remix from 'Bloc Party Remixed')

Im interested in what your choices are too so feel free to post other notable songs.
