Whatever happened to...

I just heard a Sundays song on the radio and it made me think. What happened to them? They seemed like they would have caught on a little more. Super cute vocals, infectious pop rhythms. It makes me sad I never saw them live when I had the chance. Anyone that wants to add a band that they are surprised never really caught on, please do.

    inactionhero says Last I heard David and Harriett had kids. I know they had them before their last record, Static and Silence. I remember seeing somewhere on TV years ago that they recorded that record in their home studio because of said kids. I would not mind a comeback from the Sundays. Not at all. If Edie Brickell & New Bohemians can do it. Surely David and Harriett can.

    drewfonts says Absolutely, The Sundays need to return. Their kids are grown up enough, right? I really enjoyed how they updated their sound with the folk influences on "Static & Silence". Would give anything for a follow-up to that one.
