...OK, OK, I'll come on out and admit it, I got a sonic crush on Laetitia Sadier, not only does she mesmerize with that (sometimes petulant) melifluous voice and Frenchified accent but she can play the trombone, yo! Thats pretty tight...anyone who's been reading my posts knows that I'm born-again-hard about Stereo Lab in general and I get a joy turning people on to them (35 initiates and counting, kid)...secondly, they'd also know that I do a little writing for film publications and, to go a step further, I do some community outreach type things at Rhino Records...sometimes while doing my thing I'll come across something that's cool and I'll point it out to others...this is one of those times: I found Stereolab's Serene Velocity Anthology in the digital store and scooped up all 16 tracks. Each are remastered this year and, for the unitiated, you can find cuts that'll (see the rest here)

My Trusted MOGs
Nice. I actually wrote about Stereolab earlier this morning on Anna's post
thanks for the link to the Serene Velocity Anthology. its interesting to see what would actually go into a Stereolab anthology. Peronally, I think its missing John Cage Bubblegum and Three-Dee Melodie. Such is the challege of singling out 16 tracks from their extensive and impressive library.
In addition to their great sound...I also think they have one of the best collection of album covers around.
