...repeat 'n rinse: I've said before that there's so much shite out there to grab and even when it's sitting right in front of your face you miss it, case in point, I'm at a friend's crib and she's rockin' this tight Cure CD compilation Join the Dots: B-Sides and Rarities 1978 - 2001 ...I'll (wipe the egg off of my face and) let you figure the rest out...though there's a lot of great solid material on the 4 - Disc set, I took a real shine to "Another Journey by Train" and "Descent" (those loopy drums 'n bass on "Splintered In Her Head" don't dissappoint either) I'm going to post "10:15 Saturday Night", the one that peeled my ears back first and kept me digging deeper...man, if you don't stop and smell the roses, sometime...bust it:

...woah, You've got to be in a mood to sponge up all of this shite and now's not the time...I'm sure all of the group's fans have already peeped this set but I think it bears a listen by those (like myself) who got with the straight up LPs but didn't take the dive and go for the extra curricular material... I'm certain, later on, I'll have to give this the "John Coltrane Treatment"...

I have to say I prefer the album version of 10:15. I like the sparseness of it; that version has too many guitars (of course, the band's twice as large as it was then).
They did have some great B-sides. The cassette version of their first singles album, Staring at the Sea had a side of them, including the songs you mentioned (I believe some editions of the CD version had them, too, but I never saw one). I remember really liking "Mr. Pink Eyes" and "A Man Inside My Mouth".
