Patience, my friend. For millennia our planet has adjusted and readjusted the thermostat. Humans are taking their toll, for SURE, but all we need is common sense on a global scale. Actualizing that, however... And here in Montgomery whence we had 100+ for 12 days straight, a one day reprieve, and then about a week more, you do remember correctly. The drought does NOT affect humidity. I am here to tell ya! Like walking into a hot, damp robe that you are not allowed to take off for-what seems like-ever. Hope y'all are making due alright.

So, having checked the Chronicle, you have nailed it, as always. But how do we fix it, my friend. I can see why this is excerpted here, but damn. Some serious economic shenanigans and hijinx have trailed us all with the culprits not hanged. Good on you to avoid that creep. All I can hope is that karma is reading your posts and will act accordingly. Peace.

And wait until you get your heating bill from PGW...thank God it's included in my rent. People who practically never ran their heat ended up paying upwards of $200 a month.

@Nicki: those tossers...there's scams everywhere, yo...
@katrina: I don't miss it at all...I do, however, miss the deep greens in the foliage, though...I remember I was at the screener for New World and as soon as it opened with a wide shot on the Chickahominy River, I knew it was Virginia, which I used to fish on as a boy, w/o even looking in the press notes...I was on it...but y'all can keep the humidity, yo...

I'm no "leave peeper" but I'm looking forward to the fall colors about to start here in the Burg. The drive home, down 64, to see my parents is so gorgeous.
