Bad Brained

Last weekend I got into a little debate at a party about the current state of punk music which inevitable lead me to tell the tale of when I'd first heard Bad Brains, more specifically the screech of the group's lead singer, Human Rights (or HR). Last year I caught his latest act on a whim back in Virginia and it reminded me of the group's eponymous debut LP that surfaced back in the 80s (cover pictured) which I think should be a part of every music lover's library.
