..."You can either choose to show up on time and do what you're told, with a smile on your face...or you can choose to get another job, Mr. Anderson..." ...*ye fekkin' Gods, people!!!*...is this workday EVER gonna come to an end???...is the conveyor belt of assholes ever going to stop rolling??? and when in the hell is Ed McMahon gonna show with that big-ass check, anyway??? ...man was not meant to be an air-conditioned, sedentary, swivel-chair jockey...Funky Friday? You bet your sweet ass it is...but I'm going wit the Alice and Chains right now...and I'm lovin' every minute of it...here's a couple...

But, no, I'll keep my brain in molasses, thank you, and obsess over this one position. What really throws me is that I got the call for the interview only one day after posting my application. I took the skills test yesterday, did well, and haven't heard boo.

    ivylander says Not trying to one-up anybody here, honest, but just to give you an idea of what a heartless hussy the job market is.....I interviewed more than two months ago for the company that my former boss (who is totally aces) now works for. He wants me, his boss wants me as well, the money is a lot better, and it's a one-way pass out of Dilbertland. So why it is taking nine weeks and counting to get an answer? I blame the employment gods. Them, or the new company's HR department, hard to tell....
