WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

For Kiddo, the Minnesotan Playa from the Himalayas...

...if it's good enough for Mary J. Blige's incidental music, it's good enough for you and yours, my brother from another mother...I'm fresh out of quarters, though...if this don't add to the "mood tonight", I don't know what will...you ol' dirty bastard...

  1. Rawkkiddoh says Ha this is like the 5th post dedicated to me on MOG this week, I do feel special. As you might have guessed from me being on at this point in the night, the quarters would have been better spent on a Dig Dug machine in an old arcade. One thing I have learned is that trying to plan romance on a Friday after a hard work week is next to impossible. Throw in bath night with a 17 month old kid who is starting in on his terrible two's early, and I dont think there is any song that would have helped my cause. Thus is life, instead of romance I watched all the predators on dateline tell Chris Hanson it was their first time, and gave my wife a nice two hour long head rub. Thats right Crash, I'm not a player but I rub alot.

  2. CrashPryor says hahaha...it's all good, at least yer lady's in the vicinity...do you know how lucky you are?...I'm guessing you do (the 2 hour head rub was a dead giveaway)...

  3. Rawkkiddoh says Everytime I think of you two, I feel you. A large part of our relationship was spent from afar, but its not something I would ever change. You get to know someone a lot more when you have to really communicate. Being with someone is one thing, being able to communicate with them is another. While it may seem to suck now, down the road its for the best.

  4. Mike the Knife says Oh, you romantic devils... I remember when, and it was somethin' else. Dig it when you can.

  5. mickimicki says I want to be a romantic devil, too... I'm so tired of communicating, I'd prefer the head rub... even a shoulder to fall asleep on last night... (ok I'm gonna pretend to stop whining now).

  7. CrashPryor says @CooP: I remember posting that "road trip" post where the buildup on the trip there and the aftermath totally speaks to what I've felt before...blessed be the video chat and IMs but those things pale in comparison to human contact....but you already knew that... @Mike: 'tis better to have loved and lost than to look both ways when you cross the street (or something like that-- I always zone out when I hear that last part)... @micki:...a head rub is communicating...the shoulder thing's a bird of another color, though... @Horsey: you might be good with your hands...but are you a cunning linguist?

  9. Kate says Hey, just thought I would tell you to look out for Lambchop's cover of "Give Me Your Love" because it is really really good. Look for the album "What Another Man Spills": http://www.amazon.com/What-Another-Man-Spills-Lambchop/dp/B000009T1W They also cover "I've Been Lonely For So Long".
