A Message for the Irish: Try My 239 Bean Mix...

Posted almost 5 years ago
...I was never a huge House of Pain fan but a loong time ago on a college campus in the mountains far, far away, I used to play in a band when "Jump Around" dropped and it was right on time...The LP it was on, Fine Malt Lyrics, wasn't anything to write home about but dammit that tune's had Keith Richards-level staying power, I *still* hear it bumpin' out of clubs from time to time when the oat sodas are flowing freely and the DJ's feelin' frisky......tomorrow, March 17th is officially "*St. Patrick's Day*":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Patrick's_Day but I'd imagine the purveyors of "the black stuff" are going to jump on the party train early, like, say, tonight as it's Friday...in light of that, I thought I'd put the root down and blast a little "black Irish blarney"...(in thick Irish brogue):because if you add just one more bean-- it'd be *too farty* (240)...ohhh, I know, I know... that joke's so bad...I'll try to redeem myself with this video of the hip hop classic:

  1. RaG3aH0liC says Here in Harrisonburg, VA this song is still quite the highlight on the wheels of steel. Sad, really. But I will admit, I had my day where I liked some House of Pain.

  3. Rawkkiddoh says I loved the song On Point, and a few others by them. Jump Around kind of ran its course with me, although I agree you still hear it a lot today. Only problem with it is all the wanna be rappers usually take it as a cue to start lip syncing and acting tough
