13th Floor Elevators-- Did You Realize?

Posted over 2 years ago
The 13th Floor Elevator's best-known cut was "You're Gonna Miss Me"+ which was also the tune played during the opening of the film Hi Fidelity which was based on Nick Hornby's book...I found this old footage of them performing the tune on American Bandstand in YouTube...*repost:* here's a link to an interview I did with "*John Cusack*":http://mog.com/CrashPryor/blog_post/28968 ...

  8. Lowdown says I cannot believe the crazy noise on that track is from a jug! I always wondered, I mean it makes the whole song IMHO. Great post incidentally. Sad to think of later crazy Rocky with Lucifer shaking him and that 2 headed dog after him. Dang!
