So I haven't been mogging for a long time, mostly because of time constraints, but I'm coming back (albeit rather slowly). I decided to celebrate my reintroduction into mog culture by talking about Saul Williams new album: "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust!" This album can be found on Saul Williams Website. You can either download the album in 192 kbps mp3 format for free, or pay $5.00 and get it in 320 kbps mp3 or even FLAC Lossless. The album itself is very good, being produced by Trent Reznor with Saul's Lyrics/Poetry. It's a combination of industrial and spoken word/rap. The song featured here is "Break" and it can be found as a free download off of Nine Inch Nails' Website. Echoing the Sound has a thread going to see if there are any connections between the ARG and Saul's Album. If you find anything, share! And finally, somewhat unrelated is the remixes that Saul is doing for Nine Inch Nails. His lyrics and music remix can be found at Buck The Devil's MOG or the plain music remix was posted by me a while a go. Saul is doing two remixes for Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D titled "Gunshots By Computer" and a "Survivalism" Remix. Go pick up NiggyTardust today!

The music video for the Foo Fighters song "The Pretender" is now out. MTV2 has taken it down but ifilm still has it. I can't embed the video but you can see the OK quality video here. May I be the first to say that Dave Grohl rocks like no other!

Thanks for the video link! This song is just amazing, and the video truly does it justice. Finally a protest song worthy of the cause!
Yeah, Foo Fighters have yet to release a single I haven't loved. The 'Fighters are definitely better than Nirvana.
I saw the cover for the year zero remix album and was immensely excited at first but then curious. Would Trent Reznor do the remixing? Or other artists and fans? There have been sites to gather the fan remixes and they could just compile the best of those. Either way, I'm excited and I hope the ARG starts up again soon.

Here's the Survivalism Tardusted Remix to hold us over until the real album comes out.

I like it, thanks! NIN usually lends itself to interesting remixes, depending on who's doing them. I like that he allows other artists to noodle with his tracks. My faves to date are the Aphex Twin reworkings on Further Down the Spiral, but I'm looking forward to these.

very enjoyable listen. so is this nin playing on this track?
Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor produced the music and did background vocals for many of the tracks. He's on this one. (Whoo Hooo!!)
pretty solid collabo then.
