WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Question of the Day

Posted over 3 years ago
So here is a question that I pose to the music savvy.I was thrift shopping with a friend of mine and we found a Bryan Adams 1994 tour shirt. He immediately bought it for 5 dollars to wear as often as he can. Then we started wondering if that tour shirt was more or less ironic than a "Summer of '69" tour shirt. Does the shirt lose or gain credibility if it is from the tour past his prime?Yes, these are the things my friends and I discuss over coffee on a sunday.cheers

  1. eshep says the summer of 69 shirt is way cooler. i have no idea which is more ironic. probably the latter. i mean, a journey tour shirt from after steve perry left is probably more ironic, and more pathetic. it can get blurry. but you'd be insane to prefer that over an 'escape' or 'frontiers' era journey tee.

  2. gollygee says I agree with eshep, it really depends if you are looking for authenticity or irony when you wear it. If you want to exude "I liked Bryan Adams before he truly sucked", then '69 all the way. But if you want it to be a funny thing, then '94. I love the funny shirts, personally. I used to wear a Vanilla Ice T-shirt all the time... :)
