One of my favorite Hip Hop Songs of all time is Main Source's-Lookin' Out My Front Door. The chorus of that track led me to the Pazant Brothers. The brothers were NY session cats who provided horns for folks like Pucho and His Latin Soul Brothers, The Dells, and Melba Moore. They made one record on their own, Loose and Juicy, where they called themselves The Pazant Brothers and The Beaufort Express. The influences are Latin, Jazz and Soul, but the final result is Funk.

Bring the new Orleans vibe here, man. Pazant Bros totally rule. My fave tune by them may be "A Nitty Gritty". I was not familiar with the live version of "Skunk Juice" and it sounds tougher the original tune i know.... also it must be 1:30 mins longer, which is ace.
