MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Artist:
Album: Salsoul Classics
Track: My Love Is Free - (Tom Moulton Orig 12" mix)
(120)

Thanks to Danny for originating Disco-Funk Night. Of course, he's off to the real disco to dance the night away, so I'm here on the decks.

For me, Salsoul means disco. The live instruments, the wailing divas and diva-esque dudes, the swooping strings. Here's a couple of New York's finest. Double Exposure here, and First Choice in comments.

See, Cody, why'd ya have to drop the Salsoul?

Where's the baby powder?

BTW, the woman in that ubiquitous Salsoul poster is Ellen Michaels. She probably got more pub for these posters than she did for being a Playmate of the Month in 1972.

Ooh, I like it soultron..booty trivia..I dunno, this is my second try at trying to get some folks to rally around the disco flag. Clearly I have additional work to do.. BTW-I'm digging my R.A.M.P CD. The baby powder, hmm, leeme see what I have left in this amulet/medallion..

Nice and naughty??? I must say both track and poster are saucy just the way I like it. Thanks Cody for this highly salubrious injection of disco.

PS: Soultron, you seem to be a very knowledgeable man when it comes to centrefolds :P
