My Son Likes The Ramones

I'm not sure Dr.Spock recommends this, but right before bedtime we put on a little rock and roll show. My son says ,"turn out the lights and introduce me dad." Then he unveils his costume and lip-synch rocks out. In the past he's done some of his other favs like Donovan, but lately he's been asking for the Ramones. The phrase, "be careful what you wish for ,"comes to mind.

    RainaRain says So cute!! My nephew is a big fan of Type O negative. I don't agree with it but hey he likes it. He also dances to reggaetone music. I think that's his favorite.

    Cody B says I'm sure it is just a phase..He does like Bob The Builder, too. All I can do is play him stuff and see if he likes it. In the end most 5 year olds like everything. I accidentaly twisted the radio past a death metal song the other day and he wanted to keep that channel on and turn it up, so maybe he's troubled already.

    Chisti says ha! my kid has the same mic. he loves reggae. especially michael franti, he likes that hip edge. when i was pregnant and would play the guitar he would kick in time. jonah on the kick drum! very cute.
