I have been looking forward to seeing MAE for quite a while ~ and the show was well worth the wait! The only down side ... it was 103 degrees in Boise that night, and The Venue isn't exactly a big, well ventilated building (i.e.: I gave up on 'glowing' and started to SWEAT!).
They are so wonderful on stage ... very energetic at times, and very peaceful at others. I swear they got hold of my 'wishlist/playlist' as they seriously played EVERY song I hoped they would.
They have a new CD, Singularity, out ... so I figured it'd be almost all the new stuff ~ but, no, they completely surprised me by only playing a few of the new songs.
I had my fingers crossed that they'd play the song that hooked me onto them, Embers and Envelopes, and they did!! Gotta love em ... I know I do!
