Something to listen to on Wednesdays

Posted over 5 years ago
This is a repost of an item about the show I host on LittleRadio.com on Wednesdays called "Noise Pop Radio." I work at Noise Pop in San Francisco - we produce the Noise Pop festival, other music events and do other cool stuff. Anyway, here it is. It would be rad if you gave it a listen. Thanks!Little Radio, based out of Los Angeles, is the awesome internet radio station/blogwire/podwire that is one of our favorite spots on the web. This summer Little Radio asked Noise Pop if we'd be interested in doing a weekly show and like many great things it took until now to finally come into being. Starting September 13 and continuing every Wednesday from 12 - 2 pm tune into Little Radio for our show, Noise Pop Radio hosted by Christopher.Noise Pop Radio12 PM - 2 PM PSTEvery WednesdayTune in at Little Radio ...Here's the playlist from 9/13:"God Knows It's True" Teenage Fanclub"Rise Up In The Dird" Voxtrot"M'stery Tent" Still Flyin'"Separate Cars" The Tyde"Stuck On The Bus" Beehive And The Barracudas"Alabama" Birdmonster"Rumours In town" The Exploding Hearts"Echo Beach" Robert Forster"Heatstroke" Magic Bullets"Crow Head, Eagle Wings" The Parish"Ghost In You" Robyn Hitchcock"Some Beginner's Mind" Ted Leo/Rx"Also Ran" French Kicks"Coma" Kunek"Dark Trance (Psychic Lightning)" Hockey Night"Steadfast Kickdrum" Two Seconds"Such Hawks Such Hounds" Dead Meadow"Beach Red Lullaby" Flying Saucer Attack"Violet Hour" The Clientele"Dot To Dot" BMX Bandits"Denim Take Over" Denim"Complexity Reducer" Delorean"Ghetto Ways "Scissors For Lefty"Static " Tempo No Tempo"Death Rattle Dance" Communique"What Do You Want From Me" Monaco"Seven Sisters To Silverlake" Comet Gain"Its Almost A Trap" Architecture In Helsinki"You can't change that" Ray Parker Jr. & Raydio

  1. Kate says Nice playlist. I've been playing "Ghetto Ways" a lot loudly. It helps me survive the hellish drive from Berkeley to SF. And i'm a total Felt/Denim/Go-Kart Mozart obsessive, so bonus points there. Yay for Little Radio and Noise Pop!

  2. Christopher AAA says Thanks Kate. One band I am super-psyched about that I played on my first show is Delorean from Spain, kind of a similar feeling to "Ghetto Ways" but a little more rough & tumble and New Order-ish. If anyone's curious check them out on their myspace page . Oh and listeners can IM requests during the show to chrisnoisepop, my Noise Pop Radio screenname.
