I guess the only reason to start a blog is when you believe someone will read it. Because why would you want to start writing something and place it online if you knew no one will ever read it?? They say people who hand-write on perfect CAPS characters are always expecting someone else to read what they write, so basically if you wrote your diary on CAPS characters you actually expect someone to sneak and find out you are gay, or whatever is you try to "hide". The thing about blogs is that even thought they are public on-line -and considering how much time people spend on their computers these days-, most of them are NEVER read by someone else besides the actual author. The main reason of that is because people don't really care about you, or me. They care about other people caring about their own. In other words, if you publish a blog and expect people to pay attention to you –and what you wrote- you may as well read someone else's post. And as a matter fact, I don't think I will take a look at no one else’s quotes after I finished writing this! I simply have no time!! Or maybe I simply have no interest! And then of course there is that someone that will place a comment on your post, after reading three or two sentences, trying to make you believe he is interested on your selfish internet-age hand writing, however; instead of that being an honest approach of communication and feedback, that person is just advertising his/her own blog!!! This writer is simply trying to make you read it's own work, and you know what? This person doesn't really care about your feelings, you being gay, or whatever is what you wrote about. This person is as selfish as you are! If you have finished reading this I've probably achieved my hidden goal of making you intersted on my lonely existence, or maybe I just placed a comment on your boring quote, and you wondered, who is this guy!? Let's see his profile! Either way, or even if no body else reads this piece of crap, I have achieved what everyone wants the most, have attention. It is everything about getting attention...Chris
