dang, crushin' time!

OH MAN. I have been itching for some new tunes and by golly i have found them! So Jason Schwartzman's solo project Coconut Records is AMAZING. It is cute and folksy at times and right up my alley. You would really like it especially if you like stuff like Ben Kweller. "Mama," "Slowly," and "West Coast" are some favorites right now. The album came out today, go find it and listen because it rulz alot. My Spring Break trip was wonderful. Boston is a lovely city and everyone should visit Mike's Pastry, Dolce Vita, and Legal Seafoods while they are there. My flight back to Austin was funny because it was pretty much all musicians and hipsters going to Austin for SXSW. They were all "cool" and "reserved" and i just wanted to come home to my turtle! I only caught one show at SXSW, The Smoking Popes. I had never seen them before which is suprising because my roommate is dating the drummer.... 2 of the popes stayed at my Apartment, they are nice guys and they deliver a fun show.
