Now, this doesn't make any sense. For all those anticipating the 7.4.7 release of Michael Bay's Transformers, you've definitely seen lead man Shia LaBeouf sporting a Strokes T-shirt in the explosion-friendly previews. So, you'd think a Strokes song would at least make the Transformers soundtrack, right?
Not quite. The Strokes got gypped! Think more along the lines of a bomb-trigger happy set list our boys in Iraq would be spinning on their iPods. A new track from the Smashing Pumpkins new album Zeitgeist makes the cut, however.
Transformers: The Album track list: Linkin Park - "What I've Done" Smashing Pumpkins - "Doomsday Clock" Disturbed - "This Moment" Goo Goo Dolls - "Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme)" The Used - "Pretty Handsome Awkward" HIM - "Passion's Killing Floor" Taking Back Sunday - "What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost?" Styles of Beyond featuring Mike Shinoda - "Second To None" Armor For Sleep - "End Of The World" Idiot Pilot - "Retina And The Sky" Julien-K - "Technical Difficulties" Mute Math - "Transformers Theme"More than meets the eye, indeed.
