Why should people vote for Barack Obama for president? Cause he knows how to throw a party!!!

The Illinois Senator has raised the bar for the Democratic National Convention this August by moving it from Denver's Pepsi Center to the 75,000+ seat Invesco Field. Now Kanye West, N.E.R.D. and Wyclef are billed as performers over the four days of festivites leading up to Obama's nomination on Thursday, August 28th.

According to the Washington Post, Bono's One Campaign along with the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) are trying to seal the deal so West would perform at a ONE event during the convention. N.E.R.D and Wyclef are slated for a MTV and Rock the Vote event.

Actors Ben Affleck, Scarlett Johansson, Warren Beatty and his wife Annette Bening, Forrest Whitaker, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Ed Norton will all show thier faces and support.

"We are expecting both the A-List of Hollywood as well as citizens from across the country to show up in Denver and enjoy the convention." Chris Lopez, a spokesman for the Democratic convention's host committee told the paper. "There will be something for everyone to enjoy and participate in. It will be an amazing week that will culminate with the historical nomination of Barack Obama at Invesco Field on Thursday evening, Aug. 28." If Democrats are looking to really seal the deal with this presidential election, I advise a U.S. Led Zeppelin reunion for August 28th. Obama would get my vote then (I kid...he already has it.)
