you know everytime i listen to it i feel it screams the mid-90s. in that regard...i guess its sorta comparable to something off  U2's Pop -- really big anthem plus some eletronic elemets put in there.

Ashcrofts baritone voice to me is recognizable after a few measures. This song basically rides one or two notes, which some U2s songs do too, but thats beside the point

Although the electronic "Ah ha" sounding elements are a bit obnoxious, I think I can like the Verve.  Never heard anything from them before.  Cool.
