You can never tell if Tom waits is drunk or not. During his latest press conference announcing a summer tour behind his new album Glitter And Doom, we're pretty sure he wasn't. Waits and his raspy voice kick off June 17th in Phoenix, AZ and the rest of the southern stops follow the constellation Hydra) (sorta).

Tom Waits has given up the drink. At least that's what he has said in interviews. He was self destructive at one point, and has said he was turning into a parody of himself. He may still write songs about these subjects, but everything I have read, he's quite a happy family man. Go figure.
