Haven’t seen The Gossip’s Beth Ditto up close and personal? (Girlfriend shakes what she's got!) Giving a glimpse of the Portland, OR-based dance band, who has reached chart-topping status in the UK but not so much in the US, will be the release of their first live CD/DVD, Gossip: Live in Liverpool on April 15th. The footage was taped from a show on July 9th, 2007 in Liverpool, England.
Neither the CD or DVD have the same track list but they both include some Gossip classics like the band’s UK #1 Indie chart-topping smash, "Standing In The Way Of Control,” “Jealous Girls” “Listen Up,” and covers of Wham!'s "Careless Whisper" and Aaliyah's "Are You That Somebody?"
The Gossip will follow-up the release of the album with a mini-tour of select US cities including New York (Webster Hall, April 15), San Francisco (Bimbo's, April 18) and Los Angeles (Henry Fonda Theatre, April 18).
