MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

Matthew Friedberger, Times New Viking, and Guided by Voices' Doug Gillard as well as the Guided By Voices cover band Textbook Committee will play the paperback release party for John Sellers' book Perfect From Now On: How Indie Rock Saved My Life at Brooklyn's Don Pedro's on March 1st. On March 4th the book will be released for the first time in paperback via Simon and Schuster.

The party will also have Sellers reading an excerpt of the book, which largely is dedicated to his obsession with the now defunct Guided By Voices.

Sellers will then embark on a tour in support of the release hitting libraries, bookstores and clubs across the US ending back where he started in Brooklyn, but this time with former Luna guy and one part of Dean & Britta Dean Wareham.
