It was only two days ago when we complained Nick Cave had ditched the US of A for a spring European tour. And today we hear the bad ass and his band of Bad Seeds will grace the stage as the main performer for the 2008 Plug Awards, which, in case you didn't know were held in the US of A coastal town of New York City.

Joining Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are St. Vincent and José González, as well as hip-hop act Dizzee Rascal. The awards show, dedicated to independent artists and music, will be hosted by Patton Oswalt. You know, that chubby guy you see on the late night talk shows doing a dead on impression of George Bush.
The Plug Awards, which we don't think will be plagued by picketing writers, take place on March 6th at NYC's Terminal 5. If you haven't voted yet, "head here.": http://www.plugawards.com/general_vote.php
