Indie Minneapolis-based hip-hop duo Atmosphere will release their sixth studio album When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold on April 22nd, 2008. This is the follow-up to the pair's 2005 album You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having, which lead them - producer Ant and MC Slug - to huge festivals and time on the Billboard Indie Chart. The band more recently released volumes 9, 10 and 11 of their Sad Clown series, a group of limited and unofficial EPs to hype up the release of their new full length LP for independent label Rhymesayers Entertainment.

The first round of packaging for When Life Gives You Lemons... will be a special edition containing some 40 pages in a hard cover black book with gold embossing. Among the pages of the hard cover are lyrics and an illustrated children's story written by Slug. A bonus DVD of footage from the final shows of the Everybody Loves A Clown tour shot at First Avenue nightclub in Minneapolis is also part of the special package.
Atmosphere will tour the US and Canada beginning April 22nd in support of the new album. More info on dates to come in the future.
