The Decemberists aren't the only band canceling tours. UK punk trio the Cribs have just postponed their US tour, which was to begin on November 12th in Montreal until early 2008. All tickets will honored for at the future dates.
The push back of dates is due the band's success in the UK, where they just released a brand new double A side single for "Our Bovine Public" (from their Men's Needs, Women Need's, whatever album)."
In Cribs also postponed the S dates so that they could play with the Sex Pistols at their sold out November reunion shows. The Cribs will open for the Sex Pistols when they celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album, Never Mind The Bullocks at London's Brixton Academy on November 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th.
