Duran Duran Reveal "Red Carpet Massacre"

Duran Duran have named their new album Red Carpet Massacre. According to their Web site, the band is back in the UK putting the finishing touches on the album with producer Nate 'Danja' Hills and mixer/engineer Jimmy Douglass. Red Carpet Massacre is expected to be out this fall on Epic records.Back in September Duran Duran hooked up with mainstream and platinum selling artists Justin Timberlake and Timbaland at the Manhattan Centre Studios. Both helped write the track “Nite Runner” and also appear on it. Timbaland also lends his chops on the new track “Skin Divers,” while Timberlake also collaborated on the song “Falling Down.” Other tracks include "Box Full O'Honey," "Last Man Standng," "The Valley" and the title track "Red Carpet Massacre."This is Duran Duran’s first album since 2004’s Astronaut and the departure of original guitarist Andy Taylor. The band has been joined in the studio by touring musician Dom Brown on guitar.Duran Duran, "Wild Boys" live at the Concert For Diana Duran Duran will play Live Earth London tomorrow, July 7th. Their version of John Lennon’s classic “Instant Karma” appears on the iTunes version of Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save Darfur.
