Prince Releases New Video To Mobile Users

Prince has released the first single from his summer release Planet Earth via Verizon Wireless phones. Mobile phone users subscribed to Verizon’s V Cast Song ID program, which identifies songs when you hold the phone next to a speaker, can download the free program, then retrieve the video by going to various Websites (like MySpace, YouTube, etc) to play the video holding the phone close by.Below is a snippet of the video for "Guitar" from YouTube, with an explanation of how it works:Apart from one-off gigs in his hometown of Minneapolis and an East Hampton, New York show, Prince has not announced any North American summer tour plans. He is scheduled to play fifteen shows between August 1st and September 13th at London’s O2 Arena.The British newspaper, The Sun is reporting that Prince recently said “NO” to an offer opening up for Michael Jackson, in what Jackson hoped would be a series of comeback shows. Prince declined reportedely saying that although not announced he had already had a tour planned later in the year.
