Maroon 5’s It Won’t Be Soon Before Long took the Number One spot on the Billboard 200 this week, selling 429,000 copies. The sophomore release from the LA-based rock group pushed Linkin Park’s Minutes to Midnight to the Number Two position. Linkin Park only sold 198,000 copies of the album. We say only because that’s about 400,000 less than last week.But it was the biggest week for Ozzy Osbourne who nabbed his highest-ever chart position! Ozzy’s Black Rain clocked in at Number Three, selling 152,000 albums.U.S.D.A., Young Jeezy's collaboration with Slick Pulla and Blood Raw, sold 95,000 copies of their debutCold Summer to take the Number Four spot. The Used's Lies for the Liars charted at Number Five, selling 92,000 albums, thanks to their first single and every tweens ringtone “The Bird and The Worm.” The single is already at Number Eleven on the Modern Rock chart.American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry’s self-titled climbed back to the Number Six spot after slipping to Number Ten last week. Canadian crooner Michael Buble’s Call Me Irresponsible dropped to Number Seven from Number Three. Carrie Underwood sold 92,000 copies of her debut Some Hearts to climb back into the Top Ten, and land at Number Eight. Both Avril Lavigne and Ne-Yo fell from last week’s chart positions. Lavinge’s Best Damn Thing sold 48,000 copies to land at Number Nine, while Ne-Yo’s Because Of You took the Number Ten spot.
