Marilyn Manson More Freakish than Satan-like

Dear God, where are you when we need You most. Last week when speaking of his upcoming co-headlining tour with Slayer, Marilyn Manson told MTV News, “Satan is alive and well and living on the planet Earth, and now you know exactly where to find him — this tour.” (Thanks MrFrost for the heads up!) But for real, in Manson’s XXX video for “Heart Shaped Glasses,” the first single off his Eat me, Drink Me album Manson is more F.R.E.A.K. –ish than Satan-esque. The vulgar video ruins the reputation of one of Hollywood’s most up-and-coming actresses and Manson’s 19-year-old girlfriend (rumored homewrecker of his late marriage to burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese), Evan Rachel Wood. I wanted to call the elder Mrs. Wood and speak to her about her daughter and how she could allow her to do something so repulsive. The video warns that it is not suitable for 16 and under. It made me throw up a little in my mouth. There is something really weird and wrong about this.
