The Dead Truckin' On With '09 Spring Tour

Jerry Garcia might be getting sued from the grave, but the rest of the Dead keep truckin' on. This spring the original remaining members of the Dead - Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart along with keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and Allman Brothers Band/Gov't Mule guitarist Warren Haynes - will hit the road for the first time in 5 years taking us back to the days of the Further Festival.
Earlier this year the Dead reunited for two Barack Obama benefits instigating rumors of a spring reunion tour. Rumors were right. The East Coast-friendly tour kicks off April 12th in Greensboro, North Carolina.

has it been 5 years? shit. And of course they end off at Shoreline. I actually saw Further Fest at Shoreline in '97 and Phil came out and played with everyone there for the first time in a long time and Hornsby palyed the keys with Chimenti I believe.
