"Retired" M.I.A.'s New "Shells" Video Plugs Her New Fashion Line

Yesterday MMN's Pigeons And Planes posted the new M.I.A. video for the "retired" star's new track "Shells." But what P&P failed to mention was that the preggo M.I.A. is not in the video since she is about 6 months along with her little bundle of joy and is well, still technically retired -- despite that Brooklyn appearance and the EP How Many Votes Fix Mix, which features "Shells", she released in October.

The "Shells" video, apart from the dog-on-dog action, is a working advertisement for M.I.A.'s new colorful Mexico, Africa and watermelon inspired fashion line. The ad stars Oakley Leslie who M.I.A. has tagged "The Real Pirate of the Caribeean." (But some "speculate":http://www.thefader.com/tag/okley+leslie it is also the name of her fashion line.)
