Jimmy Eat World's next tour will not be in continued support of their last album 2007's Chasing Lions. Nor will it be in support of a new album. Jimmy Eat World are going ten years back, getting back on the road in support of their 1999 classic Clarity. While some 17 bands, from Fall Out Boy to Yellowcard, cited this album as a major influence, which basically means Jimmy Eat World inspired emo, when I hear this news the first thing that comes to mind is, "Shit! It's been a decade since '99 already?"
The Clarity x10 tour kicks off February 23rd, 2009 at NYC' Terminal 5. Most tickets go on sale November 15th. More info about a fan pre-sale starting November 13th can be found at JimmyEatWorld.com.

i just watched the clarity music video on youtube... the guys look so young and innocent. not that they look bad now.. you can just tell that they have experienced a lifetime of adventures in ten years.. and the music just keeps getting better!!
