Thom Yorke Releases Free Single For Obama Victory

Posted about 1 year ago

Radiohead's Thom Yorke is psyched Barack Obama is the new president-elect (who isn't?).He is so psyched in fact that he decided to remix one of his Eraser tracks and give it away for free on Radiohead's Web site. Yorke remixed "Harrowdown Hill" calling it "tchk harrowdown jump rmx" and offered these following words...

"In celebration of November 5, Jonny's birthday amid bonfire and fireworks in the UK and the dawn of a new era in politics in the USA, I humbly donate a remix of 'Harrowdown Hill' that was finished ages ago during the band webcasts, a small reminder of the dark days of Bush's."

Dark days of Bush indeed. Seems people around the world are celebrating America's new president. Even my crazy Uncle Eugene drunk-dialed me last night from Poland saying he was happy Barack Obama will be the new President.
