In June Bjork played an eco-conscious concert in her homeland (Iceland). The event was dubbed Nattura and raised awareness for the singer's Nattura Campaign. Today (October 27th, 2008) Bjork released the one-off single "Naturra" (see a pattern here?) digitally everywhere. The song is quite angry, despite backing vocals from soft-spoken Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, and, according to the Nattura Web site, "sees Björk firmly on the march in celebration of her homeland, in hopes that Icelanders harness its energy in a sustainable way."
All proceeds for the single go to the Nattura Campaign.
