The Black Crowes Cancel Two Gigs

Musicians be dropping like flies these days. Oasis aren't the only ones "canceling gigs":http://mog.com/Charley_Rogulewski/blog/193911?from=latest_news left and right. The Black Crowes have also called off two concerts this weekend citing illness. The band canceled their weekend shows in Las Vegas, NV (September 13th) and Santa Cruz, CA (September 14th). The weird thing is tonight's show at the Wells Fargo Center in Santa Rosa, CA is still on. Hmm...?

The official statement from the band read:

We regret to inform you that the shows this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, September 13 and Santa Cruz, CA on Sunday, September 14 have been cancelled due to an unexpected illness within the band.

Las Vegas will be rescheduled and all tickets will be honored for the new date which will be announced as soon as confirmed.

The Santa Cruz show will not be rescheduled.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this unfortunate situation may have caused. Stay tuned for further details.
