Body Found At Brooklyn Music Venue

I've seen many a bands play McCarren Pool, the former public pool turned music venue in Brooklyn. So it's a littel disturbing to hear that a decomposed body was fished out of a shed on the premises on Thursday morning.
Workers told police of "a foul odor coming from a shed at the pool for months." It was reported that the shed was part of the main entrance at the venue, that is frequented by homeless people. The body is so badly decomposed that the sex couln't even be determined.
Located on the border of Williamsburg/Greenpoint neighborhoods, the venue plays host to free weekly Jelly NYC parties in the summer. Wolfmother, Sonic Youth, the Hold Steady are an example of the caliber artists that rock the McCarren stage. The Breeders just played there on July 13th with movie screenings adn plays also being staged at the venue in the most recent nights.
