Remember the excitement in photocopying all your body parts? Well CSS hit up the ol' color Xerox and got come mugs laser-jetted for their latest video. The track "Left Behind" is off the Brazilian hotties new Donkey LP. Stylist/visual performer Renata Abbade, who is no stranger to dancing (see "Freestyling Videos":http://www.re-nata.com/site/), produced, directed and starred in it all.
In other CSS news, "NME":http://www.nme.com/news/css/37987 fished out more details behind the departure of bassist Ira Trevisan, who supposedly left because she was worried that touring contributed too much to global warming. Turns out there was a little bit more drama than that and it all revolved around taking French classes.
"She wasn't interested in playing the bass," drummer Adriano Cintra explained. "She was a terrible bass player and when we all went back to Brazil to start rehearsing the new songs to record... like [guitarist]Ana she went to have piano lessons, but Ira, she went taking French lessons."
"I was like, 'Oh my god, why are you learning French? And not having bass classes?' - especially when everyone else is trying to improve, and there's just somebody holding you back. And so eventually she went, 'Oh you know, I don't want to make no drama but I'm going to leave the band'." Too bad they didn't give band therapy (like Metallica did) a try.

That is brilliantly disturbing...
the faces freaked me out too. but if there's something that CSS are good at its getting traffic to their nutty videos.
wow, liking it yet feeling a bit funny about it
If she was a terrible bass player, why did they have her in the group to begin with?
That statement tells us more about the drummer than the X bassist.
Cool video :)
