   Aside from a couple of  tracks, I am very disapointed with the album.  I was hopeing he would go in the direction of his last single "Time Bomb".  Oh well...

   I had not taken much notice of Beck for AGES.."Sex Wars" time in fact..

   This is great ..looks and sounds like a Global Warming noughties update of a sort of 50's Sci Fi meets Modernism/Surrealism ...what those Gamma Rays weren't going to do for us!

   "Ice caps meltin down"... "transistor sound" with a howlin Wolf reference thrown in..."Smokestack lightnin out my window"..could be an early (melodic) Captain Beefheart track...Love It!
