Stream New Weezer MP3 "Pork & Beans" Off "The Red Album"

By now most people have heard that Weezer's sixth album will be the band's third self-titled effort in it's history. Like the previous self-titled albums, which have taken to the color scheme (i.e. The Blue Album, The Green Album), this one will definitely be referred to as The Red Album, according to the band.Producers on the new album include Rick Rubin, Jacknife Lee and the band itself. With a street date of June 24th, Weezer have decided to release the ten-track album's first single "Pork and Beans" (mmmm!) to stores this week, April 24th, and the track is currently screening on the newly re-vamped Weezer Web site.A Deluxe Edition CD with four bonus tracks ('Miss Sweeney,''Pig,''The Spider,''King') special packaging will be available via iTunes. To hear "Pork And Beans" head "here!":http://weezer.com/Weezer (The Red Album) tracklist:

  1. Scotch says Yep, that's classic Weezer. It's not their best, but I like it. I'm looking forward to hearing more once it comes out.

  5. Charley Rogulewski says The track does sound like old school Weezer, but I thought the lyrics were a bit on the weird.

  6. Sturgell says Weezer's a fine example of if it ain't broke don't fix it. They're fanbase is still rabid, so why change the formula?
