This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, but inmates at the Wormwood Scubs prison, where Pete Doherty is serving a 14 week sentence, were planning an attack on the Babyshambles singer. After hearing about the plot and asking to be moved to a safer part of the prison, Doherty was apparently "strip-searched by four prison guards, wearing latex gloves, who were looking for drugs":http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30100-1313203,00.html (Ya-ouch!). No news if any substance was found, but Doherty is now in a safer cell with only 15 other prisoners. "He was quiet," a prison source said of the Doherty during the strip search. "He was calm. But he did seem pale – like Casper the ghost."
