Posted about 1 year ago
Bob Dylan just won himself an honorary Pulitzer, and now he's going for the "John Newbery Medal.":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newbery_MedalDylan, no stranger to book publishing, has just finished up his first children's book based on lyrics to one of his classic songs. According to "Uncut,":http://www.uncut.co.uk/news/uncut/news/11419 it is a 60 pages about the "heartwarming and meaningful story about the importance of doing good." Aged for 3 and up and titled Forever Young, a spin off of his 1974 tune off Planet Waves of the same name, the book hits shelves on October 6th.A sample of what the book might go like:"Forever Young" by Bob Dylan May God bless and keep you always,May your wishes all come true,May you always do for othersAnd let others do for you.May you build a ladder to the starsAnd climb on every rung,May you stay forever young,Forever young, forever young,May you stay forever young.May you grow up to be righteous,May you grow up to be true,May you always know the truthAnd see the lights surrounding you.May you always be courageous,Stand upright and be strong,May you stay forever young,Forever young, forever young,May you stay forever young.May your hands always be busy,May your feet always be swift,May you have a strong foundationWhen the winds of changes shift.May your heart always be joyful,May your song always be sung,May you stay forever young,Forever young, forever young,May you stay forever young.
