  1. TynansAnger says I don't know if any band who was relevant after 1989 would have to resort to Rock Band for publicity, but new media is new media.

  2. Jo says It's a gimmick-type promotion, and I guess 'Motley Crue' and 'gimmick' go perfectly together in one sentence....?

  3. K7 says I don't care how they get it out as long as I get to hear it!!!

  4. John Madden says My initial thought was "that's a pretty stoopid idea" but that was quickly replaced with "Damn, why couldn't they have done it for 'Guitar Hero 3' (one of my current obsessions) too?" I know, I know. I'll surrender my MOG account on my way out.

  5. Charley Rogulewski says sadly, my rockband console downstairs is begging for some Motley Crue. I am such a sucker for gimmicks. i really am

  6. contrabandwidth says Total gimmick. It will sell pretty well I imagine, since it's still a novelty, but when classic songs are available, those are the ones that will do the best. Nobody wants to jam out to a song they've never heard before. They want "Good Times, Bad Times" or whatever you were playing air guitar to on your bed.

  7. Scotch says I agree with Jo that "Motley Crue" and "gimmick" go hand in hand. Hell, they use umlauts in their name... However, as gimmicks go, this is as good as any. I'm sure MC fans will enjoy it.
