Austin-based trio White Denim have already gotten write-ups in Rolling StoneGQ, the latter pegging them as on of the five must-see acts at SXSW 2008.All this and White Denim haven't even released a debut album yet. The band's only album is the self-released Let's Talk About It EP.In the Carlos LaRotta-directed video for "Let's Talk About It off the EP of the same name, WD said they "tried to make it look like an old 70's movie because we are shit-house crazy like that." On the last day of the 3-day hometown shoot the band ate pizza and "it was really good." I'm not really too sure what I think about White Denim, but what I do know is that there were what 1,000's of bands playing at SXSW and to be one of the top 5 is a pretty big feat.
