What a way to kick off the weekend! Today news "via Uncut magazine":http://www.uncut.co.uk/news/led_zeppelin/news/11294 that Led Zeppelin is open to the idea of heading back to the studio to record what would essentially be the follow-up to 1982's Coda. Well at least John Paul Jones is ... sorta ... just a little bit...actually, he'd need to sit on it for a bit.
"I'd have to think about that," Jones told the magazine about making another Led Zeppelin album. "We spoke afterwards [after the O2 Arena show] and we thought the same - it felt like the first night of a tour. You think, 'Oh, I could do that a bit better, or change something in that song'. And we didn't get a chance to do any more.""I'm not sure," Jones continued about recording with Led Zeppelin again. "I'm not too certain about anything right at the moment. I've got no idea what's going to happen. But I'd certainly like to play with Jimmy [Page] again."Positive new words from Plant, whose side-project commitments have definitely delayed any suggestion to tour again. "I felt a bit embarrassed," Plant said of coming back at his old age with Zeppelin's new audience. "Hopefully, one day, we could do it again," he told Uncut about touring. "Our profit is - it's metaphysical." Metaphysical? Metaphysical sounds like a great title for a new Zeppelin record.Do you think Led Zeppelin could pull off a killer new studio album? Should they stick to touring? Or just forget the whole thing.
